Ellington Airport is owned and operated by the City of Lewisburg. This 211-acre site is conveniently located three miles from Lewisburg on Highway 431 North. The runway is 5001 feet long and usable on both ends.

Services are offered for both the corporate aviation community and the light general aviation enthusiast. Big D Aviation is the Fixed Base Operator and offers the following services:

• a forklift for loading freight
• school and group tours.

Electronic navigation aids include:

A two-story colonial style terminal building provides space for an eating area, a waiting area, a conference/meeting room, a lounge, and three offices for general use. The airport averages 30 operations per day. An 80 X 100 hangar and 16 "T" hangars are available but are currently full. Airport Manager Clay Derryberry conveniently lives on the premises for 24-hour emergency service.
